So you may remember we visited Center Parcs Sherwood Forest in January (you can see what I wrote here) and we had the most amazing time. Riding on the high of that break we quickly booked our next holiday to their newest park, Woburn Forest for May. Well, last week was the week, so we packed the car and set of on our journey.
When we arrived we were met with a lovely gift from the wonderful Steph at @CenterParcsUK which was very much appreciated!
The week was a bit of a bust unfortunately. Not through any fault of Center Parcs, it was the good old British weather that let us down. It rained all of Tuesday and Wednesday, which wasn’t much fun combined with our daughter being ill with the flu. However, the park catered for the bad weather well by having quite a bit of inside entertainment. We had a fantastic cabin, very close to the Village Square, so we were able to race into the entertainment bar and play a bit of pool.
The weather on Thursday was a little more in our favour and we managed to get out for a good walk around the lake. We even managed a barbecue with some giant marshmallows, the little one was seeming to be a little better, so it seemed a real shame to come home on Friday. Both me and my husband agreed another day would have been amazing, beings as the first 3 days were a mix of poorly cuddles and wet weather, the day we came home was gorgeous as well which meant we were even more reluctant to leave our beautiful lodge. Even though the weather was terrible, we still had a fantastic time, I can’t wait to go back.
We are going to book to go again in October, I still absolutely love Center Parcs, so… see you again soon!
