Phew! Review

Phew! Review

Recently I was sent a bottle of Phew! to review. It is a spray used to *ahem* mask bad smells in the bathroom. I didn’t use it for this though, of course I have absolutely no need for such a thing ;-).

Phew! asked me to review it as a product to spray after you’ve changed your baby’s nappy which is something I could really test out. My baby is now in the throes of weaning and, lets just say, the nappies are not the freshest in the world! She has been known to be called Stinkerbelle in the past, and when you’ve got a friend popping over and at that minute you end up changing her nappy it was a welcomed addition to the house, something that Febreeze just couldn’t tackle!

I received the “Lemon Blessed” fragrance and it smells, well, lemon-y. It is quite refreshing and does neutralise the smell well. One thing I must say is that the spray does seem to have longevity, I can still smell it 10-15 minutes after I’ve sprayed it. The product doesn’t contain any solvents, propellants, aerosols or HFCs and is non toxic and non-hazardous, which is more than can be said for the nappy it’s deodorising.

Phew is £4.99 on Amazon and comes in a handy pocket-size to pop in your changing bag.

In all, I do like the concept of the spray and there are times it may be handy with a child, but most of the time it’s just me and my daughter so, in reality, I’m used to the smell of poop. However, when you’ve got friends coming over or are trying to make a good impression… this is just the ticket.

I was sent this free to try, but I value my readers and my integrity so the opinions I have are my own and honest. I care about you all too much to compromise that!

Ha ha, I don’t think I’ll ever be immune to the smell of poo! I sometimes pretend to ignore it when someone else is around so that they’ll do the changing…

That’s a really good idea, I’ll try that one this weekend on my husband!
