I’ve always loved reading, unfortunately, it isn’t something I get much chance to do any more. I have a Kindle which goes everywhere with me when I travel, so when I was asked if I would like to host a blog book tour, I thought, what the hell, I’ll give it a go!
Murder and the Glovemaker’s Son is the latest instalment in the Libby Sergeant series, written by Lesley Cookman. It centres around Libby and a touring production of “The Twelfth Night” – when a body turns up she gets involved and solves the mystery. It is the 19th book in the series, with the previous instalments having fantastic reviews.
I don’t want to say too much about the story and spoil the book for you, but after having the chance to read this, I am definitely going to go and read the earlier books in the series, which are available on Amazon.
They are reasonably priced starting at 99p for the first title, so worth a download.
The book is released on 16th August and available for pre-order. If you are interested in speaking with the author and possible competitions you can join in with the Facebook Launch Party on the 17th August, register here. and find Lesley on Twitter @lesleycookman and Facebook Lesley.Cookman.
The blog tour continues tomorrow with Linda at Linda Strong Book Reviews and goes on until the 18th August with the hosts detailed here:
I am definitely going to be doing more book reviews in the future if I ever get enough time to read properly. My next title is “Widow” and I’m joining in with Rebecca from Mrs Meldrum, Katie from MummyDaddyMe and Charlotte from
