Murder and the Glovemaker’s Son – a blog tour

I’ve always loved reading, unfortunately, it isn’t something I get much chance to do any more. I have a Kindle which goes everywhere with me when I travel, so when I was asked if I would like to host a blog book tour, I thought, what the hell, I’ll give it a go!

Murder and the Glovemaker’s Son is the latest instalment in the Libby Sergeant series, written by Lesley Cookman. It centres around Libby and a touring production of “The Twelfth Night” – when a body turns up she gets involved and solves the mystery. It is the 19th book in the series, with the previous instalments having fantastic reviews.

I don’t want to say too much about the story and spoil the book for you, but after having the chance to read this, I am definitely going to go and read the earlier books in the series, which are available on Amazon.

They are reasonably priced starting at 99p for the first title, so worth a download.

The book is released on 16th August and available for pre-order. If you are interested in speaking with the author and possible competitions you can join in with the Facebook Launch Party on the 17th August, register here. and find Lesley on Twitter @lesleycookman and Facebook Lesley.Cookman.

The blog tour continues tomorrow with Linda at Linda Strong Book Reviews and goes on until the 18th August with the hosts detailed here:

I am definitely going to be doing more book reviews in the future if I ever get enough time to read properly. My next title is “Widow” and I’m joining in with Rebecca from Mrs Meldrum, Katie from MummyDaddyMe and Charlotte from Charltaylor #mamasbookclub. It’s the first month and I’ve never taken part in anything like this before. Fingers crossed I get to finish it in time, and not have to cheat with the Wikipedia!

Thank you for featuring the book, but could you possibly correct a couple of things? It’s the 19th in the series, not the 12th, and only the first in the series is 99p, the others are all more than that. Don’t want to give the wrong impression. Also, I wasn’t aware you were hosting this tour? I thought it was Books’n’all.

Hi Lesley, all corrected accept my apologies, I’m not hosting the tour I am just publishing a post to promote your book with the other bloggers in the banner. Jill has asked me to publish a post promoting your work. If you’d rather I didn’t that’s ok, I’ll take the post down. I did this for free to help when I normally charge to host promotional content so I hope you can appreciate this is meant to be a nice thing.
