Since becoming a mum, my body shape has changed considerably so I’ve been using promo codes for places like Dorothy Perkins to update my wardrobe. I used to be an easy size 6 (I know, you hate me now) but when I became pregnant my silhouette has changed completely and I am now a size 14, and 16 in some shops. All the clothes that used to suit me, don’t anymore so I’ve had to start from square one.
Being a mum that was on maternity pay, and now a smaller wage packet due to reducing my hours, I really can’t afford to spend a lot of money on clothes, plus they all get covered with toddler stains anyway! All of my “fun money” normally goes on my blog (saddo alert) or bits and bobs for Isabelle. Don’t get me wrong, I actually really like my new figure, it’s just uncharted territory. But I have had to be inventive with my ways to build up my wardrobe.
To help with the cost of my new body shape I’ve been using voucher codes for many different stores but ones I’ve liked most are the ones for Dotty P’s, they have a fab collection of more “grown up” but not oldie styles which are great for me. I’m loving their knits this year, as well. I’ve also been raiding H&M and their sales to find some casual tops to wear. Other firm favourites are Amazon (I’ve found a few gorgeous dresses and hoodies on there for only a few quid) and Debenhams (only for the sale bits though).
If you’re looking for some savings you can find them here Dorothy Perkins promo codes. With the winter sales approaching as well, I’ll be hoping to pick up some more bargains to add to my mummy style!
