5 things I wish I could have as a parent.

5 things I wish I had as a parent www.mumsymidwife.com

Since having my daughter I have found many things invaluable during my day to day life. Some things I truly couldn’t live without. However, there are a few wishlist items I only WISH I could have or afford.

If I had infinite cash/space* I would have these beauties.

*Our little 2 bed can’t fit half of the stuff we need… It’s a compromise between our sofa or a baby vibrating chair… our daughter lives in luxury and we sit on the floor.

  1. Rockaroo

I would use one of these bad boys until I could rock no more! I have looked at these loads of times and can’t quite warrant the price tag… but a mum can dream.

2. A Rainforest Jumperoo

We bought the space saver version and it’s FAR too big. Her little head doesn’t even come out of the harness. I’ve tried one of these at a friends house and she bounced like a flippin mad thing!

3. An Angelcare Nappy Bin

I didn’t buy one of these for when my daughter was born, but I’ve heard a lot of mums recommending them… may have to shell out with my Christmas money… you can’t say I don’t live on the wild side!

4. A Universal Footmuff

I can’t quite believe the official ones cost SO much money. Or that they don’t come with the stroller. What do you think I’m going to do in the winter? I may wrap her in foil for warmth… I wouldn’t get disapproving looks from mums at all…

5 A Butterfly Dreams Projection Mobile.
71ZpDvZmpXL._SL1500_Another Fisher-Price addition. We have nothing to go above the cot and this just looks wonderful. I guess it’s one more thing to add to my Christmas list…

Do you have any of the above, were they any good for you? Do you have any other suggestions? I’d love to know what your favourite baby items are.

I have none of these items, I really wish I did! The post is completely my own views and opinions. I just have a long amazon wishlist.

I have the Rockaroo, (although it’s catalogue bought as I too couldn’t warrant the immediate price!). I have to say though, it’s well worth it and then some! My baby loves it so much, i’m dreading him growing out of it. They hold their money well for resale though. Also, I have the Angelcare nappy bin in his nursery. It’s a great bit of kit for keeping odours at bay, if only the bag inside doesn’t split, which is what’s happened to me twice now. A nappy bag and your regular bin is just as good in my opinion.

Oh no! The bag splitting sounds like a bit of a nightmare, I’m envisioning some form of poopy carnage? Still pondering about the Rockaroo, watch this space, haha!
